Enriched white flour – 1.5 cups
White sugar – ¾ cup
Baking Powder – 2 teaspoon
Baking Soda – ½ teaspoon
Mashed ripe bananas – 1 cup (2-3 medium to large bananas)
Milk – ¼ cup
Butter – 1/3 cup (softened)
Egg – 1
Salt – ½ teaspoon
Cooking oil

Take a large mixing bowl and mix flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder and salt in it. See to it that all the ingredients are mixed well. Now add milk, egg, butter and bananas to this mixture. Keep whisking until the batter has a uniform thick and creamy consistency. You can also use electric mixer at a low setting to do this work. While whisking, you can add ingredients like nuts, dried fruit etc. as per your choice. Once the whisking is done keep the bowl aside.

Now take the rice cooker and lightly oil it with the cooking oil, so that the batter does not stick at the bottom. Once done, pour the batter evenly on the rice cooker and start it. You can cook it on the same settings you use for cooking rice. You can run your cooker twice to get the whole thing baked well. And HURRAY!! You just cooked banana cake without an oven. Relish it with your family and friends.

Tip: You can also add vanilla essence in the batter before pouring it in the rice cooker.
