- All-Purpose Flour – 2.5 cups
- White Sugar – 2 cups
- Cocoa Powder – 4 tablespoons
- Buttermilk – ½ cup
- Baking Powder – 1 teaspoon
- Butter – 2 sticks
- Eggs – 2
- Salt – ¼ teaspoon
- Boiling water – 1 cup
- Vanilla Extract – 1 teaspoon
- Heavy Cream – 1 cup
- Corn Syrup – 6 tablespoon
- Bittersweet Chocolate – 220 grams
- Vanilla Extract – 1 teaspoon
- Butter – 1 stick
- Crisco – ½ cup
- Powdered Sugar – 4 cups
- Whole Milk – 1/4th cup
- Salt – 1/8th teaspoon
- Vanilla Extract – 1.5 teaspoon
Once you are ready with all these items, you just have to follow this procedure:

Now make the batter by mixing flour, sugar and salt. In a separate container mix buttermilk, eggs, baking soda and vanilla. Keep it aside.
For the next step you need to melt the butter in a sauce pan on a medium heat. To the melted butter add cocoa powder and keep stirring so that it mixes well. Now add boiling water to the pan and allow the mixture to bubble for few seconds after which you can remove it from the flame. When this is done, you need to pour this mixture in the flour bowl. On top of it, now add the buttermilk mixture and stir well so that all the ingredients are well combined.

Meanwhile the cupcakes are being cooled, you can prepare the Ganache. For this you need to heat the cream and corn syrup on medium heat. Chop the chocolates and place it in a bowl. Add the cream mixture as well as vanilla essence to the bowl of chocolate. Mix all the ingredients until it melts into a smooth glossy solution.
Now we can move on the cream filling. Whip the butter and Crisco together, until they become light and fluffy. Add to this powdered sugar and salt in small batches and keep whipping. The next step is to add milk and vanilla essence and beat the whole mixture until it is light and fluffy. Now pour the filling into a pastry bag with a medium tip.
By now the cupcakes would have totally cooled down. Insert the tip of the pastry bag at the bottom of the cupcake a fill it with the lovely cream filling. Once all the cupcakes are filled, you need to coat the Ganache on their tops.
