Mix the stuffing ingredients together and divide them into 6 equal portions. Now make a chapatti and place it on a clean, dry surface. Place one portion of the stuffing on one half of the chapatti and fold it over to make a semi-circle. Now stuff the rest of the chapattis in the same manner and keep them aside.
The next step is to heat a non-stick tava on a medium flame. Once heated place the chapattis gently on it and cook it using few drops of oil. Cook the parathas on both the sides, until they are golden brown in color. Your coriander parathas are ready. You can serve them hot with tomato sauce or fruit jam.
Broken Wheat Upma/ Dalia
A very simple recipe, wheat upma has lots of fibre, calcium and protein packed in it. Also it can be cooked very easy. Here is what you will need to cook this dish:
- Broken Wheat / Dalia – ¼ cup
- Onion – 1 (finely chopped)
- Green Peas – ¼ cup
- Carrots – ¼ cup (finely chopped)
- Green Chilly (optional) – 1 (chopped)
- Salt – as per taste
Take the Dalia in a bowl and clean & wash it thoroughly. Once washed you need to blanch it in 2 cups of hot water for around 5- 6 minutes. Now drain the Dalia and keep it aside.
The next step is to take a pressure cooker and heat some oil in it. Once the oil is heated you add onions and green chilly to it. Saute the onions till it turns translucent. Now add green peas, carrots, Dalia and salt to the cooker and sauté it for 3-4 minutes. After this add 1.5 cups of water in the cooker and pressure cook all the ingredients for 1 whistle.
Broken wheat upma is ready. You can garnish it with fresh coriander leaves.

You will need:
- Apple cubes – 1.5 cups (chilled, unpeeled)
- Oats – ½ cup

- Raisins and cashew nuts – 2 tbsp
- Honey – ½ tbsp
You just have to combine all the ingredients in a mixer and blend until smooth and frothy. You can also add other fruits like bananas and mangoes to this smoothie. Make sure they are chilled before you use them.
