How We Verify Deals
हर कीमत की तारीख़, हर डील का हिसाब — पूरी पारदर्शिता के साथ
Every deal on DiscountMantra.in follows one rule: you always know where a price came from, when we captured it, and how to confirm it live — before you spend a rupee.
“A deal is only a deal if the price is real. So we date every price, retire it when it goes stale, and always send you to the retailer to confirm it live.”
— The DiscountMantra.in Team
DiscountMantra.in brings Indian shoppers deals from Amazon.in, Flipkart and Myntra, updated every day. This page explains exactly how our deals are sourced, how we keep them honest, and what happens when a deal gets old — because you deserve to know how a deals site actually works before you trust it with your money.
Where Our Deals Come From
Our deals are sourced directly from the retailer’s own live product listings — Amazon.in, Flipkart and Myntra. We do not copy deals from other coupon sites, and we do not publish unverified submissions. When we post a deal, its title, image, price and discount are captured from the retailer’s listing at that moment.
Each deal is captured from the retailer’s own product page — the same page you land on when you click “Buy on Amazon” or “Buy on Flipkart”. No middlemen, no recycled feeds.
We look for genuine price drops against the listing’s regular price — not inflated “MRP magic” invented to make a discount look bigger than it is.
Our team reviews what gets published, curates categories, and removes listings that don’t belong — automation does the heavy lifting, people set the rules.
Our Price Freshness System
Online prices in India change fast — lightning deals can end within hours. Most deal sites quietly keep showing old prices. We built a system that refuses to do that. Every deal on our site moves through a transparent lifecycle:
The moment a deal is published, we record the price shown on the retailer’s listing — and the date we saw it. That date stays attached to the price forever.
During the fresh window after posting, the captured deal price is shown normally — this is when the deal is most likely to still be live at that price.
Once the fresh window passes, we never pretend the old price is current. It becomes a struck-through, dated reference:
Previously ₹2,499 (as of 11 Jul)
On aged deals, the button changes to “Check Current Price” — one click takes you to the retailer’s live listing, so the price you pay is always the price you saw with your own eyes.
What We Will Never Do
An old price is always struck through and dated — never presented as today’s price.
We don’t manufacture urgency. If a deal has a real end time, the retailer’s page will show it.
Our links may earn us a commission at no extra cost to you — disclosed on every page, in plain words. Read more →
Deals are listed because of their discount and relevance — no brand pays us to be called a “top deal”.
Every buy button says where it goes. Click “Buy on Amazon” and you land on Amazon; click “Buy on Flipkart” and you land on Flipkart — nowhere else.
Dead or removed listings are cleaned up, and their old links point you somewhere useful instead of a dead end.
If a price doesn’t match, a link is broken, or a deal looks wrong in any way — tell us. Reader reports are reviewed by a real person and bad listings are corrected or removed. Fastest way: message us on our WhatsApp channel.
Every price dated. Every link disclosed. Every deal confirmable live — that’s the DiscountMantra way.
